First appeared in 2001 as connectpower.net an answer to the growing hosting industry a provider with style, in 2008 connectpower.net was changed and moved to Santrex.net due to some personal reasons. We still offer the same quality service we always did offer, Santrex can take care of all your needs customised plans from starter home user to huge massive enterprise business and that includes unix shell accounts, ircd shell accounts, web hosting, dedicated servers, reseller plans, webdesign, email hosting, game servers, domain services, shoutcast, proxy hosting, vps, torrent hosting, xdcc hosting, e-commerce, SSL certificates and much much more from A to Z.

Santrex has it all. We currently have four US Servers, and sixteen EU servers all DDoS filtered and 100 mbps along with two servers that are 1 gbps fully burstable which is required in extreme cases. Located in the USA and EU, our shells can be used for any legal purposes on IRC without ever worrying a bit about DDoS. All our servers are firewalled and have DDoS protection techniques.

Network & Datacenter

Santrex.net specializes in offering DoS/DDoS protected services. We utilize state of the art filtering techniques on our multi-gigabit equipped network to identify and deny DoS/DDoS traffic, before it can disrupt normal traffic.

Network: Santrex.net utilizes all gigabit and ten-gigabit ethernet equipment to connect to the internet. All customer servers are connected via 100Mbps dedicated ports. This ensures customers will not experience any internal network bottlenecks common with other providers. Our servers bandwidth blend includes transits from Xeex, Internap, Verio, Tiscali, AT&T, Global Crossing, XO, Level 3, MFN, IIJ, KDDI, HWNG, ChinaNet, GTS, Savvis, Cogent, Hurricane Electric and others.

Datacenters: Santrex.nets equipment and operations are located in different locations Europe (France, Netherland, and Germany). USA (Chicago, New york, and California). The facilities uses multiple redundant state of the art power and cooling units to ensure smooth operation. Security is ensured via 24/7 security staff at the door, keycode entry to the floors, biometric and keycode entry into the datacenter space, and key access to each suite.

The IRC package's are so designed as to suit your needs perfectly, for all your specific requirements. Our helpful staff is available round the clock to extend support. Currently sporting around 200+ vanity hosts, we also provide custom hosts for your needs. Be it ircd hosting or ircd shell or irc shell or both of them combined with a web host, we can always provide you tailor made packages to best suit to your needs.
